From Botshabelo, Mosala was trained by his late father, Michael Mosala.

He has been commissioned by the Roman Catholic Church, and his art has been included in collections of Oliewenhuis Art Museum, the University of the Free State and the Roman Church Library. His work has also formed part of a group exhibition at the Macufe Art Festival.
